Is this webcam test safe? Can you see my camera?
Absolutely safe. Everything runs 100% in your browser. No video or audio data is ever sent to any server. We cannot see or record your camera or microphone.
Why is my webcam not detected?
Make sure your browser has permission to access the camera. Check your browser's address bar for a camera icon and click 'Allow'. Also ensure no other application (like Zoom or Teams) is using the camera.
How do I test my microphone?
Once you grant microphone access, speak or make noise. The audio level meter will show real-time volume levels. If the meter moves, your mic is working correctly.
Can I switch between multiple cameras or microphones?
Yes! Use the device selector dropdowns to switch between all connected cameras and microphones. This is useful if you have both a built-in webcam and an external USB camera.
