Can I convert HEIC files from my iPhone?
Yes! The Image Converter supports HEIC/HEIF files commonly used by iPhones. Simply upload your HEIC file and convert it to PNG, JPG, or WebP. The HEIC decoding library is loaded on-demand only when needed.
What happens to transparency when converting to JPG?
JPG does not support transparency. When converting a PNG or WebP image with transparent areas to JPG, those areas are automatically filled with a white background to prevent black artifacts.
Is batch conversion supported?
Yes! You can drop or select multiple images at once. All images will be converted to your chosen target format sequentially. You can download them individually or all at once.
Are my images sent to any server?
No. All conversion happens entirely in your browser. For standard formats (JPG, PNG, WebP), the Canvas API handles conversion. For HEIC files, a client-side JavaScript library decodes the image locally. Your files never leave your device.
