How does the color picker work?
Upload any image and hover over it to see a magnified loupe that follows your cursor. Click anywhere on the image to pick that exact pixel color. The tool reads pixel data directly from the HTML Canvas API — your image stays in your browser and is never uploaded to any server.
What color formats are supported?
Every picked color is displayed in four formats: HEX (#FF5733), RGB (rgb(255, 87, 51)), HSL (hsl(14, 100%, 60%)), and CMYK (0%, 66%, 80%, 0%). Click any value to copy it to your clipboard instantly.
Can I save multiple colors?
Yes! Every color you pick is automatically added to a history panel (up to 20 colors). Click any color in the history to copy its HEX code to your clipboard. The history persists during your session.
Does this work on mobile devices?
Yes, the tool works on mobile and tablet. On touch devices, tap the image to pick a color. The magnifier loupe appears on touch-hold for precise selection.
